Hi I'm creating a multiple launguage site, the landing site will be: adrianaalcaide.com but i want to have a exte nav bar with links to http://cargocollective.com/adrianaalcaidees and http://cargocollective.com/adrianaalcaideen how do i do that? and on adrianaalcaide.com I've added a footer using html but now i realise that i cant do the same on the other sites. Is it possible to do it using only css code?

Hey Adriana,

Google offers a translation service which you can place into your website as a button or drop down menu: https://translate.google.com/manager/

You can place the code into your Custom HTML and position it, see here:

Positioning elements in Custom HTML

Other than that, it is possible to make a basic footer on a site that is not upgraded using just CSS. The method is described here:

Add a site footer

It will really only be a basic footer, however, with no HTML. It may be possible to just put the footer in each of your projects and pages on the site that does not have access to Custom HTML.

I can't use google translate, firts of all because my landing site is in catalan and google translate does not offer that language, second I've allready translated to spanish and english createde the other sites all a want is to be able to have istead of one nav containers on top have two!! is that impossible to do?

This is the first site: www.adrianaalcaide.com

this is the second: http://cargocollective.com/adrianaalcaidees/Adriana

this is the third: http://cargocollective.com/adrianaalcaideen/Adriana

Now all i want is to install a second nav container linking these three sites together can I do that?

You can put Links in your navigation on all three of your sites, however, free sites are rather limited.

What I suggest instead is to just put all of the copy in all languages on one site and forgo using multiple sites. This will be easier to manage in the long run and should make it better for search engines to find your site. That’s the only other thing I can think of besides upgrading three different Cargo sites.

Free sites are limited in how many links you can have in your navigation, hence my suggestion to put all your copy, in multiple languages, on one site instead of spread across three different sites.

Before i upgraded and paid the fee for a year i read this:
http://support.cargocollective.com/customer/portal/questions/792767-multiple-language-option

I was under the impression that i would be able to link 2 sites or in my case 3 adding links in the navcontainer. I'm not interested in having one site with 30 different links in the nav bar that will be confusing, also not interested in having 3 collums with 3 different languages on one page. Now on the 2 sites that are free I'm aloud 2 more links in the nav contanier and that´s all i need. So please once more can you give me the codes of putting external links in the nav contanier and preferably a way to have the external links in one row and the internal in a nother. Please Please Please!!!!

You just need to click on New Link at the top of your project list panel for each of your sites. For each Link, fill out the URL field and the title and hit “Save” then turn the Link “on” in your project list to have the links appear at the top. You may want to uncheck the box labeled “Opens in a new window” when creating the Links as well.

Uncheck the box next to Settings → Display options → Image sizes and other options → Text nav: Hide Pages in your admin panel. Then make these selectors in your CSS use a different color besides black:

.link_link a {
    color: #000000;
    text-decoration: none;
}

.link_link a:hover {
    color: #000000;
}

ok perfect two more things and I´m done: how can i have more space between the project links and the link links, would like to have the link links higher upp closer to top of the page and the project links where the're at now.

And when i click on the edge on any page i end up with a thumbnail page can i block that?

Thank you so much for all the help :)
