Turning a page into an “Index” page

Last Updated: Jan 15, 2014 03:41PM PST
By default, most Cargo designs print the project thumbnails below every page - they can be hidden or displayed, but only in Feed-based designs ( Feed, Turing, nonFeed, xFeed, ozFeed) do the thumbnails get a URL of their own. However, in many non-Feed-based designs, you can use a single page to act as a portal to the thumbnail index.

Start by going to your admin panel Settings  Display options  Image sizes and other options, and then check "Hide thumbnails below Projects and Pages"

Create a page in your project list, and place the style tag relevant for your design below:

Polaris, Cassiopeia, Europa, Sirius, California, Warhol, Landsat, Hegel, Kant, Amsterdam, Counterform-byday, Counterform-bynight, Kennedy, Kennedy-alt, Passport, Biblio, Manhattan, Manhattan-alternate
<style type="text/css">.thumbnails, #page_1 {display: block!important;} #project, #maincontainer{display: none!important;}</style>
