Fixed-width Hegel, Kant, Amsterdam

Last Updated: Dec 14, 2012 11:20AM PST
Hegel and Kant change the width of the #content_container element depending on the size of the browser window. If you want to set a limit to this behavior, override the scripted width through CSS.

To set a fixed width that doesn't change:
 #content_container {
    margin: 50px auto 0;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 10;
    width: 1088px!important;
}
Use max-width instead, if you want to allow the thumbnail area to shrink below that size:
	#content_container {
    margin: 50px auto 0;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 10;
    max-width: 1088px;
}

Amsterdam changes the width of more items than just the #content_container element, so you'll need to set its width in several more places:
		#header_content {
    margin: 0 auto;
    min-height: 60px;
    padding: 30px 0 30px 30px;
    position: relative;
    width: 930px!important;
}

.thumbnail_container {
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 60px 0 0 0;
    width: 930px!important;
}

#page_footer {
    color: #666666;
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 0 0 0 30px;
    position: relative;
    width: 930px!important;
}

#maincontainer {
    display: none;
    margin: 0px auto;
    padding: 40px 0 60px 30px;
    width: 930px!important;
}

.entry {
    clear: both;
    width:930px!important;
}
