Adding background images

Last Updated: Mar 19, 2013 03:59PM PDT
By default, in most designs, the background is a simple color:
body {
    background: #ffffff;

    color: #000000;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    line-height: 1.5;
}
To add a background image to your website, first upload an image into your website, and use it to modify the background property of body in your CSS. This can be changed to include images. A simple repeating background may look like this:
body{
    background-color: #ffffff;
    background-image: url(place_url_of_image_here.png);
    background-repeat: repeat;

    color: #000000;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    line-height: 1.5;
}
 A background image that covers the browser window will look something like this:
 body{
    background-color: #ffffff;
    background-image: url(place_url_of_image_here.png);
    background-position: center;
    background-attachment: fixed;
    background-size: cover;

    color: #000000;
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    line-height: 1.5;
}
