Adding page cuts to feed designs

Last Updated: May 23, 2014 12:10PM PDT
This is possible with a small jQuery intervention in your Custom HTML area:
 <script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
    if ( Cargo.Helper.IsDirectLink() ) {
        $('.cut').show();
        $('.cut_link').hide();
    }
});
</script>
Then, place this selector into your CSS:
 .cut{ display: none; }
Surround your "below the cut" content inside your posts with .cut class divs:
 Text and images part one
 <a href="url_of_destination_post_or_page" class="cut_link">Click here for more</a>
<div class="cut">Text and images part two</div>

If you are using a Non-Developer Design ( ozFeed, nonFeed, xFeed, Turing ), use this script tag instead:

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
    if ( Cargo.Location.IsDirectLink() ) {
        $('.cut').show();
        $('.cut_link').hide();
    }
});
</script>
